I've been in your shoes

I’m Tómas Howser, an Icelandic actor and Guildford School of Acting graduate. Since training in the UK, I’ve built a career that has taken me from leading roles in international projects such as the Sony TV series The Waking of a Nation to my current work as one of the leads in Cabaret at the National Theatre of Iceland.What matters most to me is what those experiences taught me about preparation, resilience and showing up authentically in every audition. Having moved from Iceland to train in the UK, I understand the challenges of stepping into an unfamiliar system and finding your voice.That is why I coach. My aim is to share both my professional experience and personal perspective to help you approach your drama school auditions with confidence, focus and a strong sense of who you are as a performer.
